yeah, it feels completely and totally divorced from the reality of taylor’s role in the culture right now. i also think the wayyy she writes about fame - how it impacts her on a human level, rather than complaining about wealth and notoriety - IS relatable. like we talked about this a lot during rep, but everyone has experienced feeling misunderstood, or labeled as something they weren’t, or stuck in the middle of a life transition. midnights really hones in on the micro-moments. idk.
